Pre Requisites
You will already need to be a hands on therapist with a level 3 Anatomy & Physiology qualification to be a part of an AuricuFlex course.
Insurance
Prior to offering AuricuFlex® as a treatment or auricular acupuncture, you will need to add auricular acupuncture to your current therapist insurance.
Licensing
To practice acupuncture, you may need a license from your local council, some places are exempt from requiring a needling license, while others mandate it. Regardless once qualified you will need to notify your local council of your new skill, requirements and costs vary from council to council, so it’s best to reach out to your local council directly to get all the details you will need regarding this. They’ll be happy to guide you through the process.
At AuricuFlex, we ensure you’re fully informed and our course gives you all the information you need to set up for success, but please note that we can’t take responsibility for your licensing, insurance, or clinical waste arrangements.
